Yesterday after work I went to West Lake for a fix from the chocolate cafe. It perked me right up after my early start and 4 hours with my lameo class! I sampled a caramel coffee and a selection of their cookies. They were soooooo good! I then went to a few of the import shops to get things that are a hard to find in bog standard Vietnamese places, and I went back to the deli for more lovely French ham and bread. I finally managed to round up all the ingredients for Mexican food and discovered a stash of bounty bars in one of the shops so I returned home happy. The good thing about working mornings and finishing at midday is that I have the whole afternoon to do stuff. Just about makes up for dragging myself out of bed at 6am!

The parents have just booked some flights to come out and visit at the end of the year so I'm getting excited about planning trips again. Once they've gone I'll have nearly 3 weeks left of my holiday so I'm thinking about going somewhere lik Hong Kong. I was origianlly thinking about going to Taiwan too but flights seem pretty expensive so I might ahve to give that a miss. There are no budget flights between HK and Hanoi so I think I'll prolly end up flying from HK to Kuala Lumpur and then back up to Hanoi a few days later. That's no real hardship I guesse! I might even have some time to go to other parts of Malaysia as the only place I've been on peninsular Malaysia is KL. Yay holidays!
